We got up at 3 in the morning so we could head to Sumy and meet the inspector as soon as she started. The drive was incredibly beautiful. We passed through forests and farmland. We picked up the inspector from her house and went tho the orphanage to meet with the Director. Most of the children had left the day before for summer camp so Misha was not there but we had a chance to meet with the Director, Psychologist and teachers and review his files. They told us what we already knew, that he is a fantastic kid!! We finally headed for the camp to see Misha. The camp is in a lovely wooded setting and when we pulled up Misha was waiting with Artem and Sasha. Misha ran into Kent's arms and then I had my turn to finally hug him. He looked so good. There are children from four orphanages at the camp, and all the Sumy kids came to see us. The Director at the camp was a little less than thrilled about our distraction from their planned activities, but we had a wonderful time hanging out with the kids. They showed us around, and we went and watched Ruslan play soccer. The Director thought it was time for us to go, but invited us back for the evening program. When we came back they had a professional singing group perform for the kids and then we got to have a blast just hanging out with Misha and his friends. They had the forever basketball game and then Kent taught them the American version of the hand slap game which was a huge hit. We met Misha's girlfriend, who was a little shy. She is at the age of 15 when she is leaving the orphanage, and saying goodbye to Misha at the same time is hard for her. That night they had a disco and Misha and a few of his friends put on a break dance show. We once again overstayed our welcome with the Director and had to say goodbye late in the evening. I can't stop hugging and kissing him, but he is still being a great sport about it!! The kids love Kent here, they follow him around and want to play with him. They think he's highly entertaining. I haven't been able to stop smiling.....

Oh My Gosh! You guy's look great! The boy's look so big. It is so wonderful to be able to see them. Thanks for the pictures. I can't wait to hug and kiss them too!

I'm back from girls camp and was so excited to see your new posts with pictures!!! Thanks you so much Ruslan looks so good!! All the boys look so good just like you said. Keep on hugging them for us. How's their English? They do look taller. We are so excited for you. I'm so glad you got to see the girls they look happy. Lucinda
